4K Armour Floor Epoxy DIY KIT is a heavy-duty, solvent-based epoxy floor coating system designed to provide a hard-wearing, chemically resistant, and long-lasting protective finish for concrete and metal surfaces. The system delivers superior adhesion, abrasion resistance, and durability in high-traffic industrial and commercial environments.
The coating system consists of a penetrating primer, build-up coats, and protective topcoats to achieve optimal film thickness and long-term performance.
DIY Kit includes: 4K Armour Floor Epoxy Part A and Part B, 500ml Armour Epoxy Cleaner, 500ml Armour Epoxy Thinner, 100ml Dynamite Degreaser, 500gsm Cement Repair, 75mm Brush, Mohair Roller, and a Mixing Agitator.

Application Details:
Mixing: Always mix with a slow-speed drill or hand-held agitator for 4–5 minutes. Do not use sticks or paddles to stir.
Application Method: Roller or Airless Spray Gun
Ratio: 4:1 – Normal for metal or build-up floor coat
Penetrating Primer Ratio for concrete only – 4:1 + 10% Armour Epoxy Thinner
Thinning: Not recommended, as it reduces the quality of the resin. But if required for spray purposes, thin with no more than 10% Armour Epoxy Thinner
Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with Armour Epoxy Thinner or Armour Epoxy Cleaner (A bio-degradable option)
Application:
For Roller Application:
- Apply 1 coat of 4K Armour Floor Epoxy to achieve proper penetration
- Allow 2 hours drying time in between coats
- Allow an additional 3 hours in cold, wet weather
- Porous surfaces may require 4 coats to achieve a DFT of 200µm–240µm and ensure proper coverage.
For Airless Spray Gun Application:
- If needed, thin with no more than 10% Armour Epoxy Thinner
- Apply 1 coat of 4K Floor Armour Epoxy to achieve proper penetration
- Allow 2 hours drying time in between coats
- Allow an additional 3 hours in cold, wet weather
- Porous surfaces may require a 3rd coat to achieve a DFT of 200µm–240µm and ensure proper coverage.
Health & Safety:
4k Armour Floor Epoxy contains a highly flammable solvent. Precautions must be taken to prevent naked flames or sparks from contacting vapours. Smoking must be prohibited during use. Solvent vapours may cause narcotic effects in high concentrations. Always ensure adequate ventilation and avoid using solvent-based products in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mouth. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles. If contact occurs, remove immediately using thinners and wash thoroughly. Do not allow the product to dry on the skin. Keep out of reach of children.
