PRODUCT FEATURES
- Fibre Reinforced is a fibre filled coating material designed to prevent water penetration into the substrate. Applied in several layers it forms a thick protective waterproof skin

- In white and pastel colours, it also has the added benefit of reflecting heat and therefore contributes to heat reduction (especially for metal roofs)
- Acid resistant
- Apply a generous thick, coat of Fibre Reinforced to the area that needs protecting in small manageable sections
- Allow to dry 6hours before re-coating
- Apply a second, third and possibly a fourth generous coat, waiting 4-6 hours between coats, until the membrane is totally saturated and the surface has an even and very noticeable high sheen.
- This product is ready for use undiluted; thinning with water will reduce its hiding power and effectiveness
- Three to four coats of this product are used for best results
- Application equipment clean-up with clean tap water
- Do not apply after 16:00 in the winter
- Do not apply exterior if it looks like rain will occur, within 4-6hours of application
- 100µ 1 Coat – recommended 300µ recommended
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove all rust with Clean & Protect, scrub and rinse thoroughly with water
- Remove dust, oil, grease and other foreign materials with Degreaser
- Ensure that the surface is sound and dry before painting
- Apply paint – 3 coats with 4-6 hours drying time between coats
- De-grease surfaces with HD Degreaser to remove the manufacturer’s grease protective layer. This process is repeated until the surface is water break free.
- Rinse thoroughly with water
- Prime the clean de-greased metal with a water-based metal primer
- Apply paint – 3 coats with 4-6 hours drying time between coats
- Remove dust, foreign material, fungal and algae growth
- Fill all visible crack and spot primer with plaster primer
- Apply paint – 3 coats with 4-6 hours drying time between coats
- Remove dust, foreign material, fungal and algae growth
- If friable or powdery, seal with bonding liquid or plaster primer
- Apply paint – 3 coats with 4-6 hours drying time between coats
- Make sure old paint coatings are firm and solid
- Remove all loose, flaking and bubbling paint with Paint Stripper, scrub thoroughly with hard wire brush or broom and rinse off with water
- Remove all dust, grease, foreign material, fungal and algae growth with Dynamite Degreaser or HD Degreaser for tough grease and oil stains
- Wash thoroughly with water and allow to dry
- If then powdery or friable, seal with bonding liquid or plaster primer
- Apply paint – 3 coats with 4-6 hours drying time between coats
