Asbestos Primer (Styrene Acrylic) is a water-based styrene copolymer emulsion (26.5%) specifically formulated to penetrate, bind, seal, and consolidate friable asbestos surfaces. The product encapsulates harmful dust and fibres, helping to reduce airborne contamination while improving the moisture resistance and durability of the substrate.
It dries clear (milky when wet) and provides excellent adhesion, making it suitable for both interior and exterior asbestos sealing applications.
Suitable for interior and exterior use, including:
- New or aged asbestos cement sheeting
- Friable asbestos surfaces requiring encapsulation
- Sealing asbestos substrates prior to topcoating
