Fire Guard Paint is a high-performance, water-based intumescent coating designed to provide advanced fire protection for a variety of substrates. When exposed to extreme heat or flame, the coating expands to form an insulating barrier that significantly slows down heat transfer to the underlying surface. This protective layer helps preserve structural integrity and can provide fire resistance for up to 3 hours, making it ideal for both safety-critical and high-risk environments.

Application Details:
For Roller or Airless Spray Application:
- Apply in multiple layers for optimal protection
- Allow each coat to reach approximately 50 Shore D hardness before applying the next coat
- Recommended wet film thickness: 500–700 microns
- Maximum film thickness: 1 mm
- Apply a compatible water-based topcoat after full curing
Drying & Curing:
- Touch dry: ±6 hours
- Allow sufficient drying between coats
- Full curing recommended before exposure to cleaning or heavy use (±4 weeks)
Limitations:
- Do not apply in freezing conditions or during rain
- Avoid application below 0°C or above 35°C
- Protect freshly applied coating from moisture, rain, and high humidity
- Avoid heavy traffic for at least 24 hours after application
Cleaning:
- Clean tools and equipment immediately with water
- The dried product can only be removed mechanically
